About the Salem Bed
The Salem Storage Bed is a popular design because of the added drawer storage built right in to the bed. The storage below and several strengthening boards allow for your mattress to sit directly on the platform without the use of a box spring.
Each bed comes with footboard and sideboard storage drawers as mentioned below and depending on size. The sideboard drawers are set in the center to allow for a nightstand to sit beside the bed without hindering drawer use.
If you must keep the bed along a wall, just ask for a no pressure reduced price quote to leave out whatever drawers you need to.
- Twin: One foot-board drawer, one side drawer left side facing.
- Full: Two foot-board drawers, one side drawer on each side.
- Queen: Two foot-board drawers, one side drawer on each side.
- King: Two foot-board drawers, one side drawer on each side.
Our Salem platform storage bed is available in solid oak, cherry, maple or walnut wood.
Decisions Decisions
Since I build to order, the options are really too many to list.
If you want a color or two tone combination you don't see listed as an option - choose "Other color not listed" or "two tone combination" and "Wood (Your Choice)".
Just add to the cart - then let us know what you want where in the "Add a note to your order" area at checkout. Note - this must be a color we list on our colors page & price will be adjusted after the order is placed for wood types other than oak.
