I learned the art of wood bending many years ago through an informal apprenticeship with a master craftsman in the Appalachian Mountain region of PA. The first thing I learned to make was rocking chairs.

My rocking chair design has adapted since then, and has become my own signature. Key features of my rocking chair design include: a comfortable lumbar support bent wood back, gradually angled bent wood seat, and perfectly honed pitch and balance.
